William Lewis,
IV - Son of William Lewis, III |
| William Lewis, IV was born c. 1749 in New Hanover
County, and served in the Revolutionary War as a Militiaman.
Circa 1778, William IV moved his family to what is now Marion
County, SC and joined his brother Benjamin Lewis. He died in
Marion County in 1799. |
