For a considerable time, the Author tended to believe that this Solomon Lewis was the son of Hardy and Dicey Lewis, but just before the Second Edition of my book was printed, I came to believe that I had indeed erred. Too late to be updated in the new book, I am almost convinced that this Solomon Lewis is the son of Richard Lewis.

However, in November of 2004, I received an e-mail from Cherry Lewis Thompson who is convinced that I was correct the first time - that Solomon Lewis is, in fact, the son of Hardy and Dicey Lewis.

So, if anyone has anything to resolve this dilemma, please contact me.
