| Solomon Lewis (b.1715 in Bath County, NC) grew
up in New Hanover County, NC around Town Creek (present-day Brunswick
County). He was appointed Constable of Town Creek in 1737. Soon
thereafter, Solomon moved to Prince George Parish of Craven County,
South Carolina in what is present-day Marion County. He had at
least two known children as shown below. His son, Hanson, moved
on to Bladen County, NC, where he remained until Columbus County
split off - thereby, Hanson ended up in Columbus County, NC. |
