Sometime prior to 1790, Jordan Lewis moved from Duplin County, NC to what would soon become Bulloch County, GA. There he married and started a family, and they lived in the Denmark Community for 23 years. His first wife, name unknown, died circa 1796, and he married a second time to Sarah (last name unnown) sometime between 1797 and 1805. In 1818, Jordan relocated his family to Greene County, MS. In 1838, he died in Mobile County, AL, and his will was probated on 3/23/1838 by his youngest son, Isaac. |
