The Descendents of John
Green Lewis and ? |
| John Green Lewis shows up in the US Census for
Marion County in 1820, then "disappears" from the Author's
scope. It is very likely that he moved his entire family "south"
and "west" as many went that way in the early 1800s.
He was granted 395 acres of land in Marion County in 1800, but
he sells it sometime later (date yet discovered). |

| * Born in Marion County, SC. ** Benjamin may
not be the son of John Green Lewis, but the Author feels that
this connection is "most likely" given all the available
information. If the Author gets better information on who this
Benjamin's father is, this site will be updated. |
