The Descendents of Alexander Lewis and Lydia Dew
Alexander Lewis was born in Brunswick County and moved to Columbus County in the 1870s, where he married Lydia Dew. Alexander and Lydia settled in the Freeman, NC area (Ransom Township) and remained until their deaths. Both are buried at the Piney Grove Church Cemetary near Freeman, NC, as are their sons Alexander "Zander" and John Ivey.
