| A.L. "Jack" Lewis, III graduated from Aynor Highschool in 1939 and soon thereafter moved to Dillon County, SC. He served in WW-II and received the Purple Heart. After the war, he returned and opened up the Dillon Body Shop, where he remained for over 40 years. He was a charter member of the VFW Post 6091 Mackey Lodge, a Dillon County fireman for 24 years, served two terms on the Dillon County Council, and was a member of the Dillon First Baptist Church. | ||||
